Orangetheory Fitness offers 60-minute workout sessions split into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training with heart rate monitors to track intensity and maximize metabolic burn. Even from the first time you enter our Houston, Texas Orangetheory Fitness studio, you can already feel the energy! With fast-paced and fun workouts, upbeat music, and contemporary spaces, Orangetheory offers a new fitness experience that will electrify you.

Utilizing treadmill training, indoor rowers, weight training blocks, TRX suspension training, and floor exercises, our personal trainers will lead you through a challenging 60-minute group workout that will leave you feeling revitalized. If you have any physical limitations, please notify your trainer before the start of your session so they can make any necessary adjustments for your safety.

Every Orangetheory session is heart rate monitored to ensure that you have the most productive workout possible. Our workout has been designed to keep your heart rate within a targeted zone, to stimulate your metabolism and increase energy. When this occurs, the Orange Effect results – meaning you'll enjoy increased energy and calorie burn for up for up to 36 hours after your session.

Kristy Cordova is an accountant by trade with a B.A. in Accounting and is NASM certified.
 
She has always had a passion for fitness but fell in love with the concept and staff of Orangetheory Fitness when she took her first class.
 
Kristy believes she has definitely found her calling. She absolutely loves her job as an OTF trainer and motivating her West University members to push themselves to the limit!
Julian graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelors of Science in biological and physical sciences.
He is currently in school in pursuit of becoming a Doctor of physical therapy. Julian is certified in AFAA and NASM. He loves basketball and high intensity training.
You can find Julian as our Head Trainer at our West University location.
Phillip was born and raised in South Texas and joined OTF in the summer of 2014.
He graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN with a degree in Business Administration.
Phillip received his CPT from A.C.E. in 2010 and came to us with 6 years of personal and group training experience.
 
With CEC certs in Strength Training for Older Adults and Pre and Post Natal exercise, Phillip enjoys helping all people with their fitness goals.
 
Phillip is a Trainer at the Sugar Land and West U locations and loves to keep himself fit with recreational sports, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and of course, OTF workouts!

HEART MONITORED TRAINING

 

Backed by the science of post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), our heart-rate monitored training is designed to keep heart rates in a target zone that stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Our clients burn an estimated 500 to 1000 calories per workout. We are 5 zone heart-rate interval training.

COACH SUPPORT

 

Working out in a group provides accountability and structure to help achieve fitness goals. You are more likely to get a great workout and better results from the well-rounded movements and pace direction you get in a group setting. The session motivates each other to pick up the pace and reach beyond plateaus. People who workout in groups stick to their goals more consistently than those that workout alone.
